PREFACE

The initiative of the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation to bring out its Citizen's Charter is a significant step in confidence building and strengthening transparency in the functioning of the Government. I hope this Charter would be used by Citizens to get the quality of public service as indicated in this booklet.
