2. Review of Crop Statistics System in India through Improvement of Crop Statistics Scheme(ICS).

The publication deals in details, two component of Crop Statistics i.e. Area and Yield collected by different States through prescribed procedure. The status, lacunae and differences in system of Crop Statistics in the States as generated through Improvement of Crop Statistics Scheme(ICS) is presented in this report. The report also contains the details of sampling design and organization of the survey and the major findings of the scheme.

3. Review of Crop Statistics System in States through Improvement of Crop Statistics Scheme (ICS) (season wise) Status report of each States.

Report deals with the findings of Sample Check on Area Enumeration and Crop Cutting Experiments taken up under the scheme of ICS in 22 different States/UTs namely: Uttaranchal, Delhi, Pondicherry, Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Orissaa, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Gujrat, Jammu & Kashmir, Chhatisgarh, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharastra, Tamil Nadu and  West Bengal.
