Refresher / In Service Training Courses For ISS Officers

The objective of the in-service refresher training programmes is to expose the officers to the latest developments in the field of official statistics and also at the same time refresh their knowledge with basics of various subjects of official statistics. The entire set of such training has been classified into two groups: a) Mandatory Training and b) Domain specific optional refresher training. The mandatory refresher trainings are exclusively kept for in-service ISS officers, whereas domain specific optional training programmes are meant for statistical officers from ISS Cadre, Central and State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, PSUs and International/Foreign Governments/Agencies.

During 2016-17, the NSSTA would organize the following thirteen (8) training programmes (each of batch size: 15-20 participants). Senior Officers of States/UTs are also eligible for the programmes. There would be 2 Mandatory trainings and 6 Domain Specific Trainings during 2016-17. The details are given in the annexure.
