AWARENESS SEMINAR/WORKSHOP AT UNIVERSITIES

As an initiative to popularize official statistics among student,NSSTA has decided to support outreach programmes/workshops on official statistics, wherein senior officers from CSO or other Ministries would interact with the faculty and students at the Universities. NSSTA would support the Universities to conduct three such workshops during 2016-17. These workshops would be 1-day duration. Universities may send their proposal to NSSTA well in advance. During 2015-16, it was successfully conducted at Assam University, Sikkim, Andhra University, Andhra Pradesh and RTM Nagpur University. The response / interaction with the students was highly encouraging.
