Refresher Training Programmes for SSS

As per the recommendations of the National Statistical Commission (NSC), every Subordinate Statistical Service (SSS) official has to undergo Refresher Training Programmes at a regular interval. Accordingly, a one week Refresher Training Programme has been developed for in-service officials in Subordinate Statistical Service (SSS). The course content of Refresher Training Programmes has been designed by keeping in view of updating their knowledge and understanding the latest developments in the field of official statistics and working with computers.

The Training Programme Approval Committee under the Chairmanship of DG. CSO has approved 5 refresher training programmes for in-service SSS grade-I officers each of two week duration during 2016-17. Of these two weeks duration, a programme of one week duration would be conducted on "Official Statistics" at NSSTA and other on "Computer Applications" at Computer Centre. MOSPI
